Isn't Inner Child Stuff Old News?
The Inner Child concept has been talked about in psychological circles for a long time now and has even entered our common zeitgeist such that we all have an idea of what we think someone means when they are talking about the Inner Child.
"Oh, that's the part of me that wants cake, and wants to play and sing when I should be working, right?"
Yes, and no...
There are 3 aspects to the Inner Child part of you:
The SIM is all about Love and acceptance, about peace and restoration of the true, innocent, vulnerable You. The You that you would be if you had never been hurt, if you had never been disappointed and the You that still believes in the wonder and miracles of life. This You is very often suppressed and hidden under layers upon layers of hurt, disappointment and betrayal, it is covered in masks, choices and decision you have made that affect your interactions with life and beliefs about life.
The Traumatised Inner Child (TIC) or Frozen You is the aspect of the innocence that you were (and are and always have been under all the layers of masks and protection you have put on) that made decisions, or formed belief systems, from traumas, memories, and experiences of the past - often these experiences are in childhood and prior to age 7. These traumas or experiences create frozen spots within your energy system, which actually form a crystallisation within the flow of energy, and projection from your system, that subverts or distorts your creations based upon the belief of the TIC.
The Subconscious Mind or Bouncer acts as a bouncer to protect the SIM and keep the innocence safe. Based upon the decisions of the TIC and the interpretation of the subconscious mind it will direct the thinking, the belief systems and the projections to be in accordance with what keeps the SIM safe - which is interpreted to be 'what keeps the incarnate safe' ie You. Hence the subconscious mind will subvert and pervert the thinking, the actions and the choices you make in order to keep you in alignment with the decisions of the TIC - these decisions made by a child's reasoning then will play out in life as your hologram.
Example:
As a young child you see your parents fighting about money, and maybe even get into trouble when you spend money on lollies because money is so precious it shouldn't be wasted on such things.
TIC decision:
money causes fights,
money makes you naughty and gets you in trouble,
money isn't for nice things and fun things like lollies (which translates to the adult mind as anything nice like holidays, dinners out etc)
Result:
life plays out such that money will only come in small amounts - because money causes fights, so we can't have too much of it around as we don't want to be fighting all the time, and money makes us naughty, and we want to be a good person don't we?
when money does come in it goes straight into paying a bill, or the mortgage or an unexpected expense comes up and rips it all away from you - because money isn't for nice things, but it can be used for burdensome things.
there is no attachment to money as joy, or as delivering lovely things, or as easy to come by
So, you can see that the decisions made in trauma by the inner child that play out in our lives can seriously affect our well being! In fact, some of the decision of the TIC are actually from previous incarnations and feel so darn true that we don't even question them, we just accept them as reality. Isn't it time you started looking at the decisions that are affecting your life, made by the Inner Child, and dissolving them?
If you are interested in experiencing a dissolving and collapsing of belief systems formed by your TIC you are welcome to contact me for a session or consultation.
